Topic A) Post-glacial sea level change and glacial isostatic adjustment

Researches on climate change have been gaining momentum in the past two decades. Data of global sea level change is one of the most important input for many climate models. However, the relative sea level change data obtained by tide gauge records are contaminated by Glacial Isostatic Adjustment (GIA) signal. The contamination is mainly due to post-glacial land uplift at the region formerly loaded by ice, where land surface and sea surface are now rising simultaneously but at different rate. A refined finite element model of GIA will be presented, which includes the effect of compressibility of earth material.

Topic B) Test particle stability in HIP 36616 system

We conducted series of numerical simulations testing stability of S-type orbit in HIP 36616 system with help of mvs integration. We confirmed previous result of stability boundary (initial circular case) of prograde and retrograde orbit. We found a weak correlation between boundary and initial mean anomaly of planet but a strong correlation between starting eccentricity and boundary. We also report stable regions beyond traditional stability boundary. The stabilization regions were confirmed due to mean motion resonance and secular resonance.
