Postdoctoral Fellow

I am a vertebrate palaeontologist specialising in the anatomy, evolutionary relationships and life history of Mesozoic non-avian dinosaurs. I received my BS and MS in Geology from Peking University in 2006 and 2009, and followed with my PhD in Paleontology from Columbia University in 2015. My current research mainly concentrates on the evolutionary relationships and biology of theropod (mostly carnivorous) dinosaurs based on fossil specimens; this includes work on the transition from non-avian dinosaurs to early birds. I am also interested in how our knowledge of theropods and their occurrence in the rock record are related.
