Dinosaur Footprints
Fossilized dinosaur tracks are forms of trace fossils, objects that record the active movements and behaviors of ancient organisms while they were still alive such as nests, eggs, coprolite (excrement), burrows, dung, teeth marks and foot prints.
Dinosaur footprints tell us about many aspects of dinosaur behavior, that dinosaur traveled in groups, moved with their feet held underneath their body and how fast that particular animal was traveling at that moment, if it was walking or running and traveling in a bipedal or quadrupedal manner. |
