ACCREDITATION

The Geological Society, UK

The Geological Society of London accredits our Geology (Intensive) Major. Students completing this major will receive an accredited degree, providing an accelerated route to achieving the Chartered Geologist qualification.

The professional qualification of a Chartered Geologist is recognized internationally and in Hong Kong. The government, for example, regards chartered geologists as professionally equivalent to chartered engineers.

Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals, Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals (HKIQEP) accredits our Environmental Science Major. Students following the accredited pathway will gain expertise in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, and Sustainability. The accreditation offers many benefits for our students including a shorter path to Professional Membership, student membership, and opportunities to interact with and receive mentorship from practicing environmental professionals in Hong Kong.
