: THE GREATER BAY AREA OUTREACH PROGRAM ON PLANETARY SCIENCES ORGANISED BY DES STAFF
Professors Zhonghua Yao, Binzheng Zhang, and Weiran Li, along with their colleagues at Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) and teachers in the Yew Chung Yew Wah Education Network (YCYW), have launched an outreach program focused on planetary sciences education. Between February 22 and 24, the team visited HKU, YCYW, and SYSU to discuss the integration of research and middle/high school education. As a result of the trip, a meteorite monitor has been established at YCYW, and the team is planning a summer school program for selected students to work on meteorite and auroral sciences.
