WELCOMING NEW HKPF & HKUPS PHD AWARDEES FOR 2025-26

At the start of the 2025-26 academic year, Prof. LIU Zhonghui (Interim Head of Department) and Prof. Louis WONG (Associate Head (Research) and Chairperson of DRPC) warmly welcomed four HKPF and HKUPS awardees to the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences as they embark on their four-year PhD programmes. Prof. Liu congratulated the new awardees and encouraged them to be proactive in their learning and to take full advantage of the opportunities to enrich themselves during their time at HKU. Prof. Wong also assured the awardees that the Department is fully supportive of all aspects of their academic journey.
