My research examines the impact of climate change on the climatology and risks associated with extreme weather events, with a particular emphasis on tropical cyclones. By integrating physics-based models with statistical methods, my research is categorized into three primary areas: (i). the impact of climate change on extreme weather climatology; (ii). reliable estimation of hazards and risks associated with extreme weather events; (iii). a deeper understanding of the uncertainties in climate projections.
I obtained my B.S. in atmospheric sciences from Nanjing University (2017) and my Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering from Princeton University (2022).
